We are passionate about fostering an inclusive working environment that gets the best out of each team member. A key part of this is championing the women that are in our team.
To mark International Women’s Day this year, we spoke to Miranda Chambers and Rosie Teal-Hunt about their time at Fortitude and their career journeys so far.
Career opportunities
Miranda joined Fortitude in 2022 as an Account Executive. After one year she was promoted to Senior Account Executive and is now responsible for delivering client work across a range of accounts and performs a leading role in marketing, copy writing, social media management and event coordination.
Rosie is the most recent addition to our team and is responsible for graphic design, social media management and content creation. Her skills have become invaluable to the team and enable us to deliver fresh, exciting and unique content for our clients.
“We have a really supportive company culture that puts an emphasis on developing professional skills,” said Miranda. “In just two years with Fortitude I have progressed a huge amount.
“I’ve benefited from a good mix of on-the-job learning and one-to-one guidance from Greig. The support from all of my colleagues has helped me to drive my professional ambitions and take the next step in my career.”
Rosie added: “Before joining Fortitude I had never worked for an agency before, so it was a fantastic opportunity for me to develop my skill set and launch a career in communications.
“I was made to feel part of the team as soon as I arrived which gave me the confidence to get stuck in.”

Progression pathways
Helping our colleagues reach career milestones and continue to grow both personally and professionally is key to ongoing development.
Miranda explained: “There are clear progression pathways and development opportunities available at Fortitude. If you want to learn a new skill like photography or design, this is really encouraged, and you are given the tools to do it.
“It’s really motivating to be in an environment that champions your successes and rewards and recognises hard work.”
Rosie added: “Both Miranda and Shaun have had the opportunity to take on more responsibility and take steps forward within the company. It has been great for me to see clear examples of development within the team and given me something to work towards.”
