Fortitude Communications launch competition for charities to win a free video and photo shoot

Fortitude Communications have launched a competition offering charities the opportunity to have a professional video produced for free to help them bounce back from COVID-19.

Our team of specialists will produce a video for the winner of the competition and provide a corporate photoshoot to the runner-up to help them engage with their audiences online.

We launched the giving back charity competition this week and are encouraging Oxfordshire based registered charities to enter. To enter a charity must be registered or be delivering positive social impact in Oxfordshire.

Supporting charities

Greig Box Turnbull, founder of Fortitude Communications, said: This is a fantastic opportunity for charities to have a beautiful video or a set of photographs produced to make a difference to their cause.

It has been a challenging year for everyone, and we wanted to offer good local charities who do so much in the county some additional support to help them bounce back. Supporting our community and playing an active role in it is a big part of life at Fortitude.”

Thom Airs, head videographer and licensed drone operator at Fortitude Communications added: Video and photography significantly help increase audience engagement in a meaningful way. They are an ideal way to grab attention and tell stories in our digital world.

They also can have great longevity and so will provide on-going value for the winners of the competition. We will create the video and photographs in-line with the winners’ brand guidelines.”

A panel of judges at Fortitude will consider the entries and select the winning charities. The winner of the competition will have a one-minute video produced by Thom and the runner-up a half-day photo shoot conducted by Shaun Reynolds.

Fortitude will cover the time, expertise and equipment required to produce the video and photographs. The team will hold a workshop with the winning charities to understand their culture and target audience to ensure the messaging and final output is effective.

We are a PR agency based on the Oxford Science Park. We specialise in helping organisations engage with their audiences via communications, content, PR, video, photography, and drone services.

The deadline to enter is midnight on Friday 14 May. Full details on how to enter can be found here.
