Professional content creation
National apprenticeship training provider Ignite Sport UK have launched the new 12-month scheme nationwide for sports clubs, charities, private coaching companies and businesses within the sports and fitness sector.
The on-the-job professional training programme helps clubs upskill colleagues or recruit new talent – and create regular content across multiple platforms. The Level Three apprenticeship provides a market leading programme of learning combined with one-to-one tuition and mentoring.
The programme includes training on social media scheduling and management, copy writing, content creation, video production, photography and media. The apprenticeship provides clubs with a cost-effective way to provide opportunities and create regular content to help increase fan engagement and communication.

Our team of communications and media industry experts will help deliver the programme. They include our founder Greig Box Turnbull, who is the co-owner of Oxford City Stars and a former Daily Mirror journalist and Oxford United managing director. Plus, Talk Sport presenter and former Bauer Media editor Thom Airs, award winning sports editor Richard Tilley and former newspaper chief sportswriter Shaun Reynolds.

Apprenticeships are open to people of all ages and are cost effective. Furthermore, there is currently £3,000 worth of government funding available for employers who recruit an apprentice before September 30.
Ignite Sport UK, based at Oxford City FC, is a registered training provider for sport and education qualifications which is delivered nationally. It holds main provider status with the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
