Oxford Stadium and Cheetahs appoint Fortitude Communications

Fortitude will manage the venue and speedway club’s communications and PR, to build its reputation and profile, raise awareness and develop engagement. 

Our team will provide strategic communications advice to the venue and speedway way and manage its various digital platforms. 

Oxford Stadium had been shut for nine years following its closure in 2012. However, promoter Kevin Boothby has secured a multi-year lease from Galliard Homes to re-open the venue to the public. The Oxford based venue will become an inclusive, multi-purpose, community hub which hosts events that are accessible to everyone. The venue will include a well-being centre and sports bar and host greyhound racing. 

Regeneration

Lisa Hust, Commercial Operations Manager at Oxford Stadium, said: ​“This is an exciting time for Oxford and the surrounding area as a much-loved venue is regenerated and finally reopened to the public.
