Fortitude will manage the historic venue’s strategic communications and PR, to develop its narrative and reputation and build brand engagement. Towcester Racecourse is home to the prestigious English Greyhound Derby. It also hosts classic car shows, live music festivals and exhibitions.
The vast venue is available to book for conferences, events, exhibitions, weddings and parties. Based in Northamptonshire it also has a sports bar, restaurant and function halls.
The venue is steeped in history and is where jockey AP McCoy secured his 4,000th career win riding Mountain Tunes to win the Weatherby’s Novices’ Hurdle in 2013. After going into administration in 2018 the lease was taken over by businessman Kevin Boothby in 2019, before the pandemic struck. Mr Boothby has appointed Fortitude to help re-build the venue’s profile.

Mr Boothby, Towcester Racecourse Managing Director said: “This is an exciting time for Towcester Racecourse, we have the English Greyhound Debry coming up and our beautiful venue is fully back open for people to enjoy.

We’re looking forward to expanding our partnership and building awareness of the beautiful hospitality and leisure facilities available seven days a week at Towcester Racecourse.”
