Video Production

Here are some examples of our video production work from our portfolio.

Westcott Venture Park corporate video

Fortitude produced a hero video for Westcott Venture Park in Buckinghamshire to showcase the innovation park to key stakeholders online.

The video included aerial footage captured by drone and a professional voiceover. Fortitude worked with the client on its objectives, target audience, messaging, storyboard and script ahead of filming. Filming including interviewing tenants. Fortitude managed the whole process from concept to final cut. We also produced short clips for social media.

We worked with Fortitude in the production of an outstanding video for Westcott Venture Park which encapsulated the Westcott story perfectly. This video is being used far and wide to promote the park, it now sits on numerous websites, investment portals, is being used to promote World Space Week and supports us visually at events. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fortitude as an agency to partner with for communicating your story visually.”

Clare Thompson, communications director Westcott Venture Park.

Be Free Young Carers charity video

Fortitude produced an overview video for Be Free Young Carers. The charity offers support dedicated to improving the lives and well-being of young carers in south Oxfordshire.

It wanted a video to help demonstrate its impact to communicate what it does to supporter and funders. We worked with the charity to understand its objectives and created a storyboard prior to filming. Our videographer Thom Airs visited a Family Fun Day and filmed the activities, captured individual stories and conducted interviews.

A timeless two-minute video was produced which the charity has broadcast on its website and social media channels. It has also shared it directly with its key stakeholders and intends to use it at presentations in the future.

From conception to delivery, the service we received from Fortitude was exceptional. Our first meeting was to discuss our needs and what we hoped to achieve from the video, the whole process was client centric and using their expertise, they were able to provide us with a first-class impact video. Thom was incredibly down to earth and captured everything we could possibly wish for within the video. No shots were forced or setup, everything happened naturally which put everyone at ease in front of the camera and made for a great result.”

Sabine North, fundraising and events coordinator at Be Free Young Carers.

Oxford United in the Community’s National Citizen Service recruitment video

Fortitude produced two attention grabbing videos for the charity’s National Citizen Service summer programme.

The first video was a recruitment video that was broadcast at school assemblies. The second video captured the impact of the programme. Our team worked with Oxford United in the Community to define the purpose of the video and how to engage its hard-to-reach target audience. We then held a workshop to generate creative ideas and produced the storyboard ahead of filming and production.

The special touches & techniques Fortitude added to the video & the advice they gave us on how to behave and communicate was invaluable. It made a massive difference to the final outcome. The planning process Fortitude guided us through was extensive and thorough. It ensured my colleagues, and I were fully aware of what to expect on the day of filming.

On average, we’d expect to attract 100 to 150 views for each video we post online. We surpassed 1,500 views within days and that was just on YouTube. A key factor is because it stands out. But also, we identified and implemented the correct tone, so it appeals to the younger generation. Fortitude advised us our target audience identify better with visuals with a modern, vibrant look. The video generated huge interest and made a big difference to our recruitment. It really accelerated the rate of sign-ups.”

Aled Newton, NCS Programme Manager at Oxford United in the Community.

Our reward over investment on the video has been phenomenal. It has helped us secure a strong number of recruits in record time.

Everyone who has watched the video has been mesmerised. The EFL Trust who oversee the NCS programmes at all the football club charities in the UK said it was one of the best recruitment videos they have seen. We are delighted with the video and the response it has achieved.”

Chris Lowes, Head of Oxford United in the Community

Velocity Football education provider video

Oxford based higher education provider Velocity Football commissioned Fortitude to produce a film to help it recruit a new in-take of students.

Our team worked closely with Velocity Football to define the video’s purpose, content and storyboard ahead of filming and production. The eight-minute film was first broadcast at the virtual open event, as an introduction to the session. It proved to be an ideal way to communicate Velocity Football to its audience. It was used extensively at various virtual open events, physical open events, in newsletters and online to help showcase the course and drive interest in enrolment.

Thom and the team at Fortitude took time to prepare us for filming and produced a brief and story-board in advance. On the day he was brilliant at putting the team at ease which ensured they came across well on camera.

The audience was transfixed straight away. It was a highly effective way of communicating everything we needed share in one clear way. We wanted a video that would impact our sector and inspire students to join. But at the same time, we needed it to be kind to our budget.

Fortitude delivered on every level. The team managed the entire production process including planning, filming, editing and distribution. Fortitude produced a high-quality video that exceeded what we envisaged. It showcases everything Velocity Football is about and has made a real impact.

When the team first watched the video everyone just said‘wow’, it’s that impressive. We were amazed by the quick turnaround and the standard of the editing to deliver a video that we are delighted with. Our video has become an invaluable resource since it was first broadcast. Importantly for us, the final product has sustainability and means we can continue to showcase it to our audiences in the future.”

TicketCo Oxford Roundtable Fireworks — corporate video

TicketCo required a video that showcased how its digital event payment technology was used by the Oxford Roundtable to delivered its annual fireworks display smoothly.

It was the first time the Oxford Roundtable had used the platform and it provided it with the means to pre-sale tickets online and then scan in ticket buyers on the night at the gate via QR codes on smart phones and printed tickets.

TicketCo wanted a video that showed how the technology enabled its client to process more than 20,000 event goers in a short time window to enter the event — and for the film to capture the atmosphere of the event.

Our videographer filmed the content in challenging conditions and produced the final edit on a tight turn around for TicketCo. The client loved the video and has used it strongly on social media and in its business development outreach.

We were in the market for a video production company to design, capture and deliver a unique story. We wanted someone with local knowledge in Oxfordshire and able to capture the beautiful backdrop of the city overseeing the event.

Fortitude Communications were professional from start to finish and took on our feedback during the editing process to deliver what we felt was the perfect video. I would highly recommend Greig and the team and look forward to doing more with them in the future.”

Joe Edwards, Sr Global Key Account Manager at TicketCo

COSMO Oxford restaurant showcase video

This high-impact promotional video was produced to market the re-opening of COSMO restaurant in Oxford.

It was produced as part of a series of striking videos for the restaurant chain’s Oxford venue. The 150-seat restaurant is in a basement and so COSMO wanted a fly-through tour of the venue to showcase it to its target audience.

Our head videographer used drone and 360 camera technology to obtain the footage. The video is now broadcast on a digital screen in the window of its street-level entrance to showcase the venue to passers-by and has also been utilised on social media. Additionally, Fortitude produced a series of short social media video clips that were used to highlight different elements of the restaurant experience.

We hadn’t had a video done for the branch previously so was the perfect chance to get some content to use on socials to attract customers.

Fortitude planned the story board, organised the videographer and attended on the day to ensure everything was in place. They finalised the edits and supplied final versions. The videos are fantastic and were everything we had hoped for.”

Joanne Fallah, Marketing Manager COSMO

Ignite Sport UK apprenticeship recruitment video

Apprenticeship training provider Ignite Sport UK wanted a video to help with a national recruitment campaign.

Fortitude hosted a planning workshop with Ignite Sport UK and established its key objectives, audience and messages. We then produced a storyboard and script.

We visited Ignite Sport UK and schools to obtain the footage. Our team conducted interviews for case studies and testimonials to provide human stories in the film. The final film was produced on time and on budget. It has been used extensively since as part of Ignite’s recruitment activity.

We’ve been able to use the film to suit our audiences’ needs and it will be re-purposed for many months, making it a sustainable investment.”

We’re thrilled with the product, but also impressed by the quick turnaround of Fortitude’s video from blueprint to final sign-off. When the team sat down and watched the video everyone agreed they absolutely loved it.

Fortitude really delivered for us and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both Fortitude and video as a way to engage with your audience,” said Hannah.
