The agency has been announced as one of three finalists in the JACKfm Marketing Excellence category in the Oxfordshire Business Awards 2023.
Celebrating its 27th year, the Oxfordshire Business Awards recognises, rewards and promotes the excellence of Oxfordshire-based companies. This year’s black-tie ceremony will take place on Friday, June 9, at Oxford Brookes University where the winners of 13 categories will be announced.
Fortitude has been shortlisted for its contribution to the marketing and communications of the successful regeneration of Oxford Stadium and Oxford Speedway, which both made extraordinary – unforeseen – returns to the city in April 2022.
Marketing Excellence
Greig Box Turnbull, founder and director of Fortitude said: “I’m incredibly proud that the agency is a finalist in the Oxfordshire Business Awards. It reflects not just our marketing excellence, but also of the strength of Fortitude as a business.
“It’s richly deserved recognition for our team who have delivered superb results not just for Oxford Stadium and Oxford Speedway Club but for many clients. The Oxford Stadium and speedway club journey has been one of the best stories in our community in the past year and it’s been a privilege to help put them back on the map with a bang. Reaching the final is a celebration not just for us, but for everyone at the stadium, speedway club and the community it serves. Thank you to JACKfm have putting us through to the final and best wishes to everyone involved.”
Brand building
The Fortitude team remains responsible for the venue and speedway club’s marketing, communications, PR and social media to continue to build awareness, further develop engagement and enhance its strong, local, reputation.
Activity has included creating communication strategies, the brand, the creation and launch of new websites and social media channels. Plus social media management, PR, photography, marketing, videography and community engagement outreach including competitions and school visits.
Also shortlisted in the JACKfm Marketing Excellence category are Aston and James and Experience Oxfordshire. Everyone at Fortitude would like to wish all finalists every success on the night, and we look forward to seeing you then.
